Sheriff's department gets computers

Washington County deputies (L-R) Ronnie Sullivan and Aaron Carpenter display computer equipment the sheriff's department recently received through a grant administered by the Baldwin County District Attorney's Office. Because of the Southwest Alabama Integrated Criminal Justice System grant, which was approved by the U.S. Senate, the department received several desktop computers for inter-office use, laptops to aid deputies and several printers as well. Washington County Sheriff Richard Stringer thanked the Baldwin County DA's office for its assistance in obtaining the computer equipment. "We will put it to good use," he added.
