Etheredge - Minor united in marriage at First Baptist Church in Leroy
Bro. Dave Delegal officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Minor of Dadeville and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Etheredge of Leroy. The church was decorated with Christmas trees with white lights, poinsettias and candles. The bride was given in marriage by her father and wore a strapless satin A-line gown with laceup back and a sweep train with apple red trim. Her elbowlength veil was trimmed with apple red. She carried a bouquet of red roses and red and white stargazer lilies. Musicians included soloist, Joey Blount, Georgiann Lewis on piano and trumpeters, David McMichael and Jason McMichael. Maid of honor was the bride's sister, Hilary Minor of Alpharetta, Ga. Bridesmaids were her best friends, Kayla Harrelson, Stacy Carter and Amanda Mowery, all of Dadeville. They wore apple red strapless satin A-line gowns with cascading back and carried white fur hand muffs. Flower girl was Ally Etheredge, cousin of the groom. Serving as best man was his father. Groomsmen were Stuart Etheredge, Murray Etheredge and Justin Allen, relatives and friends of the groom. Ushers were Chris Blount and Mark Milstead. Ringbearer was Trey Conerly, cousin of the groom. Reception Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church activities building which was hosted by relatives and friends of the couple. A buffet of heavy hors d'oeuvres was served to the guests which included the bride and groom's cake of vanilla and chocolate and punches. Guests blew bubbles as the couple left for their honeymoon to Gulf Shores.
The couple is residing in Leroy. She is employed with Best Western in Jackson and he with C.E. Harrell and Sons of Sunflower. Mr. Etheredge is also the co-owner of Kuntri Kustoms in Leroy.
