JPD welcomes new chaplain
The Rev. Mark Dunn (center) was welcomed as the newest chaplain for the Jackson Police Department. Chaplains volunteer their services to counsel victims of crimes as well as police officers during difficult times. Presenting Dunn with his badge is Chief Chaplain the Rev. E.C. Russell (second from left). In attendance for the presentation (L-R) were Officer Ben Marshall, Russell, Dunn, Chief Charles Burge and Officer Arvis Slack.
