Besteda to play for UWA
Jackson High School's Demarcus Besteda recently signed a full athletic scholarship with the University of West Alabama for football, beginning in the 2007 football campaign. On hand for the signing were (bottom L-R) Besteda's mother Pamela Besteda and Besteda. (Standing L-R) JHS principal Wanda Roberts, athletic director and football coach John Blackmon. Besteda signed as a wide receiver.
