Mayor's statement

In last week's edition in the story about the Clarke County Community Foundation meeting, it was reported that Jackson Mayor Richard Long credited former Mayor Norma Beard with laying the groundwork for current economic growth in the city, when in fact what Long said was, "Mayors James Arrington, Norma Beard and previous administrations laid the groundwork for what is currently transpiring in Jackson."

CSI
