JIS receives award
Jackson Intermediate School recently received an award from the Salvation Army for their participation in the bell-ringing campaign during Christmas time. The school was first runner-up in the school division. Presenting the award was Cynthia Perine, second from left. Receiving the award was Laurie Butler, JIS bookkeeper, Perine, Alfred Donald, JIS assistant principal, back, and Valisa Crawford, JIS instructional assistant. Butler and Crawford co-chaired the fund-raiser.
