Area students receive honors from AUM

Christopher Ryan Powell of Grove Hill received a bachelor of science degree in education from Auburn University Montgomery on Dec. 16, 2006.

Named to the Dean's List for the fall semester of 2006 were Deidra Janee McGhee and Jacob S. Pugh, both of Jackson.

Students named to the Dean's List must have maintained a 3.5 or higher grade-point average and completed at least 12 hours of course study.
