When Monroe County came to town, the Lady Aggies handed the Tigers a 56-50 defeat. Alexandra James punched in 22 points for Jackson. Kelly Murphy knocked down 20 for the Lady Tigers. More ... JA junior high girls in state tournament at Wilcox Aca. The Lady Eagles junior high girls played in the Alabama Independent School Association (AISA) state tournament at Wilcox Academy on Saturday. They fell to Springwood in their first game 37-22. Kayla Lowery led the JA team with 9 points. Lowery was also named to the all-tournament team. More ... Dixie League announces sign-up dates Dixie League Sign-ups will be Feb. 6, 8 and 15 from 4 until 6:30 p.m. at the concession stand at the park. On Friday, the Lady Eagles lost their first area game to Sparta 54-41. Nataline Moseley had 11 points while Kayla Coleman added 10.
