By Evan Carden SA Editor

Asearch warrant served at a McIntosh residence last Thursday produced a considerable amount of stolen property as well as illegal drugs.

According to Washington County Sheriff's Deputy Luke Singleton, he was contacted around 7 p.m. by McIntosh Police Officer Brad Singleton concerning information he had received about a stolen generator, which was said to be located at a McIntosh residence. Upon arriving at the home, the two lawmen noticed the piece of missing equipment in plain sight.

The officers left the residence and returned around 9:30 p.m. with a search warrant. During their search they recovered a number of stolen items, which included the generator and several power tools. Amounts of marijuana and crack cocaine were also found in the home.
