Fourth graders support soldiers
As part of their Veterans Day study, the fourth grade class at Jackson Academy interviewed veterans, had veterans speak to their class and participated in the school Veterans Day Program. They also sent Christmas cards to men and women serving in Iraq. They recently received pictures, cards, letters and Iraqi money from some of the soldiers. A Certificate of Appreciation was sent to the class for their support and encouragement of the troops.
