      Jesse Richard Brewer Jesse Richard Brewer, 64, died Jan. 11, 2007 at a local hospital. He was a native of Rose Hill, Miss. and a resident of Jackson. He was a retired E & I Supervisor with Ciba Specialty Chemicals and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jackson.

Clarke County Sheriff's Report
      Over 40 arrests were booked through the Clarke County Jail over the past week. Those arrested include: Tammy Ivette Byrd, 37, bad checks, $5,000 bond, arrested by Clarke County Sheriff's Dept. Danueal Renee Cade, 31, criminal mischief, third degree, $500 bond, arrested by Grove Hill Police Dept.
