United Way kicks off in Clarke County Sept. 17
      United Way of Southwest Alabama will kick off its campaign in Clarke County Thursday, Sept. 17 at Grove Hill United Methodist Church from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Serving as this year's fund-raising chairman will be Thomasville Mayor Sheldon Day. Julia Ann Deas of Grove Hill is serving as chairman of the board.
