Norwood, Wade winning team in Coffeeville fishing tournament
Mike Norwood and Leon Wade brought a five-fish limit to the scales weighing 13.96 pounds to out duel 39 other teams for the Coffeeville Open title, the second stop of the Share the Gospel Tournament Trail, fished on March 31.
Second place went to the team of Billy Black and Clay Morris with a limit bass tipping the scales at 13.42 pounds, anchored by the tournament's luker weighing 5.33 pounds.
Third place went to the team of Jeremy and Mark Williams with a creel weighing 13.42 pounds.
Fourth place was awarded to William Daw and John Salter with a weight of 11.83 pounds. The next highest was Donnie Atchison and Tony Tarver with 11.04 pounds.
The next stop on the Share the Gospel Trail will be fished at Demopolis out of the city landing.
