Jackson PD report

The following information was provided by the Jackson Police Department for the week ending Nov. 25.

Thefts

Theft of a motor vehicle was reported from the 800 block of Cherry Avenue; theft of firearms on Highway 43; and theft from an auto on Hospital Drive were all reported on Nov. 20.

Accident

•Two-vehicle accident without injuries, Nov. 20, on Highway 43 near Industrial Road.

Arrests

Dijion Taylor, 18, of Jackson, was arrested Nov. 21 for driving under the influence.

Cyrus Jones, 27, of Jackson, was arrested Nov. 21 for public intoxication.

Timothy Edward Tripp, 37, of Jackson, was arrested Nov. 25 for public intoxication.
