School board members sworn in
The two newest members of the Clarke County Board of Education were formally sworn in Tuesday. Barry Chancey, center, a Republican, was elected to represent District 3 while the Rev. T. L. Douglas, right, a Democrat, was elected to District 4. Both men are from Jackson. District 3 extends northward to Coffeeville while District 4 runs south and east from Jackson. Probate Judge Becky Presnall, left, administered the oath to the new officials in Grove Hill.
