Moseley - Berry united in marriage Sept. 30
The bride's brother, the Rev. Baron O. Berry of Tulsa, Okla officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony. Parents of the bride are Peggy Berry and John Allen Berry of Cypress Inn, Tenn. The groom is the son of Connie Woodard of Jackson. Grandparents of the bride are Roxie Berry of Cypress Inn and the late Ernest J. Berry and Helen and John Bobo of Florence and the late Edith Bobo. The groom's grandparents are Ruth and Carl Beck and Russell Moseley, all of Jackson, the late Bertie Mae Moseley, and Sally and Frankie Beverly of Coffeeville. The bride and her attendants arrived in a horse-drawn carriage and were escorted across the lawn by the groomsmen. The bride was escorted by her father onto the steps of the historic old antebellum home where the wedding was performed. Attending the bride as maid of honor was her cousin and best friend, Heather Whitten of Martin, Tenn. Bridesmaids were the groom's sisters, Crystal Hodge of Coffeeville and Michaela Woodard of Jackson, and cousins of the bride, Jordan Newcomb and Destiney Volz, both of Florence. Attending the bride's book were the bride's cousins, Meagan Holt of Birmingham, Shannon Whitten of Martin, Tenn. and the groom's cousin, Carrie Beverly of Jackson. Byron Beverly, the groom's uncle of Jackson, served as best man. Groomsmen included the groom's uncle, Craig Moseley of Jackson; brother-in-law Terrill Hodge of Coffeeville and two of the groom's college roommates, Matt Hopper of Cullman and Ben Gallian of Waynesboro, Tenn. Ushers were the groom's cousins, Cory Beverly and Mitch Beverly, both of Jackson. Will Claytor of Florence, a friend of the bride and groom, provided the wedding music. Theresa Berry of Tulsa, sisterin law of the bride, directed the wedding. Reception Immediately following the ceremony, the guests were invited to attend the reception which was hosted inside Coby Hall. An array of finger foods was served. The bride's room featured an assortment of cheesecakes prepared by the bride's father. The cheesecakes were arranged in two three-tier stands and surrounded by a variety of other finger foods. The bride's aunt, Jennie Whitten and sister-in-law, Theresa Berry decorated and arranged the bride's room. The groom's cake was prepared by the bride's mother and included a cake formed in the shape of a deer head. The groom's room was set up as a hunter's paradise and was decorated by the groom's aunt, Abby Beverly and her assistants from Jackson. Assisting in serving at the reception were the bride's close friends and former classmates, Mary Leigh Burns, Haley Arnett and Kari Warrington. Following a honeymoon to Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains, Mr. and Mrs. Moseley are making their home in Florence.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of UNA and is currently employed at Kleen Air Research in Florence, and the bride is completing her bachelor's degree at UNA where she will graduate in May.
