Clarke-Washington Fair under way
The Clarke-Washington Counties Fair kicked off Tuesday night, with good weather. The annual event, which runs through Saturday, Nov. 4, is sponsored by the Jackson Rotary Club and features various pageants and competitions throughout the week. Children's Day will be Saturday, Nov. 4, from noon-5 p.m. Admission for ages 5-17 will be $1. For the last night of the fair the gates will be open from 6-11 p.m. Armbands will be available every night.
