Fair Queen 2006 named
The annual Fair Queen competition was conducted, Tuesday, during opening night of the Clarke-Washington Counties Fair. Five young ladies from area schools competed for this year's title. The pageant included evening gown and talent competitions. Winners (L-R) were third runner-up Jennifer Maxon of Jackson High School, first runner-up Lacey Blankenship of Leroy High School, Queen Raechel Carpenter of Jackson Academy, second runner-up Brittany Harrell of Jackson High School and fourth runner-up Stephanie Robinson of Clarke County High School.
