Fall Festival is this Saturday

Thousands of people are expected to fill the streets of Jackson this Saturday, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., for the annual Fall Festival.

This year's event will feature plenty of craft booths and food vendors in the downtown area. This will be an opportunity for those wanting to get a jump on their holiday shopping.

Many items, such as arts and crafts, handmade clothing, Christmas items, purses, children's toys, knives and much more will be available. More than 20 food vendors will offer various treats including hotdogs, hamburgers, seafood, cotton candy, fried candy bars, funnel cakes, ice cream, cotton candy and nachos.

The Fall Festival is a family event offering entertainment for every age. The children can enjoy unlimited use of various games with the purchase of an armband for $7.

Annual Lumberjack Show

Outdoor enthusiasts will be entertained by the 24th annual Lumberjack and Saw Competition, which will be conducted behind city hall.

Auto Show

The Bob Smith Memorial Antique Auto Show will display more than 100 automobiles from various eras.
