Mr. and Mrs. Ikner honored on 50th wedding anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. David Ikner

Mr. and Mrs. David Ikner were honored with a 50th wedding anniversary celebration on Sunday, Oct. 15, 2006 at the Kirk House in Axis.

Mrs. Ikner is the former Shirley Vincent.

The couple was united in marriage on Oct. 5, 1956 in Beechmont, Ky.

The reception was hosted by their five children, Keith (Christy) Ikner, Kent (Kim) Ikner, John Ikner, Jim (Cindy) Ikner and Carolyn Padgett.

The Ikners have eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
