Sullivan Family presenting festival and band reunion for this weekend, Oct. 20-21

The Sullivan Family will be presenting the Bluegrass Gospel Homecoming Festival and Band Reunion on Friday, Oct. 20 and Saturday, Oct. 21 at the Sullivan Family Home Place Park, located nine miles south of Jackson, one mile off Highway 43.

There will be a potluck supper on Thursday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m.

Featured singers for Friday and Saturday are Uplanders, Gospel Gold, Bush Family and Big Jim Williams.

Saturday only performers are Judy Marshall, MCMA Band, The McPhersons, Southern Travelers, Crystal River Band, Tommy Atwood, Jimmy Hicks Family and other guests.

There will be food, fun and music with the Sullivan Family. There will also be free workshops for anyone interested in learning harmony singing, guitar, bass, mandolin and banjo.

No admission but a love offering will be taken.
