Letter to the editor
Tired of negative publicity
Dear Editor:

Hello. There are a few things I would like to talk about. Like, why is it when we get a good person in office, some people want to see how much they can take? Why can't everybody just be happy and not try to run people's good names down?

It's getting to the point where you can't even open a newspaper without seeing someone putting Stuart DuBose down. What has Stuart done to them? Are they mad because they lost a case to him? Or is it they don't like to see a country boy do good?

I personally wish they would stop trying to make Stuart out the bad guy. All that I can see is that Stuart has done his job. Will someone tell me what's wrong with that?

Stuart DuBose is one of the best lawyers I have ever done business with. He has always had his client's best interest in mind when he takes on a case.

Mr. DuBose has been my lawyer for awhile now. He has done everything he could do to represent me. He is a fair and honest family man and a good lawyer. And he will make the best judge that he can be.

I would like for everybody that has put Mr. DuBose down to just think about all that he has done as a lawyer. Ask yourself if you needed a lawyer who would you pick? Some loud-mouth or someone you know that will do everything that he can do for you?

All I can say is that Mr. DuBose is the type of person that we need to have as a friend, neighbor, lawyer and judge.
