Pine City Gun & Pawn is open for business

Pine City Gun & Pawn, located at 2167 U.S. Highway 43, Jackson, conducted its grand opening Sept. 29 and 30.

Members of the Jackson City Council and Jackson Police Department turned out to welcome the new business, owned by Shane Lee Sturdivant.

Staff members and Billy Thomas bring a combined 50 years of firearm experience to Jackson. Currently, all new guns are offered at the store, with such well-known brands as Remington, Savage, Marlin, Taurus, NEFA Co., H & R, Browning, Ruger, Glock, Smith & Wesson and Kel Tec. They also offer a full-line optic rifle scopes.

"We buy, sell and trade guns, tools, knives, jewelry and accessories, as well as anything else of value," said Sturdivant. "We are a full service gun shop and offer a great selection of jewelry, knives and hunting accessories. Our inventory is expanding every day, so we invite everyone to come by and check out what we have to offer."
