Andrews - Garrick united in marriage
Judge Gary Blaylock Andrews, father of the groom, performed the 6 o'clock doublering ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Jenny Smith Garrick and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth James Garrick, all of Jackson. The groom is the son of Roseann Raughton Andrews of Chattanooga and Judge Gary Blaylock Andrews of Chickamauga, Ga. Music for the ceremony was performed by the bride's brother, Brandon Christopher Garrick of Jackson. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a formal length, V-neck gown of ivory matte satin with a lace overlay beaded with Swarovski crystals. The gown featured a shirred netting waistband and court length train. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of peonies, hydrangea, lisianthus and roses in shades of white and ivory. Serving as matron of honor was sister of the bride, Ashley Garrick Adkinson of Dothan. She wore a chocolate silk jersey dress and carried a hand-tied bouquet similar to the bride's. Gary "Blake" Blaylock Andrews, Jr. of Boulder, Colo., served as his brother's best man. The bride's brother, Kasey James Garrick of Jackson, read a selection of Scripture and recited a prayer chosen by the couple. Reception The reception was held in the sunroom of the Martin House located at the Bluff View Art District. Arrangements of peonies, hydrangea, lisianthus, and roses in shades of white and ivory decorated the dinner table and were surrounded by candles. The guests enjoyed a fourcourse meal with entree selections that included the Martin House steak, Atlantic salmon and grilled double breast of chicken. The wedding cake was a twotiered cheesecake. Each layer was wrapped with white satin ribbon and topping the cake was the couple's monogram scripted in pearls.
Following a honeymoon in the British and U.S. Virgin Islands, the couple will make their home in Chattanooga.
