The Get Lost In Jackson $100 winner was Gary Irby from the Boise weigh station. The drawing took place at McDonald's on College Avenue. Thank you McDonald's for sponsoring GLIJ.

The weight totals are in for August with an overall loss of 148.25 lbs. Congratulations! There was also a gain of 152.15 lbs., leaving a gain for August of 3.9 lbs.

Summer is over and fall schedules have resumed. How does your schedule look? Have you scheduled exercise and movement in? Are there healthy food choices scheduled?

It's not too late to "Get Lost". If you disqualified over the summer by not weighing in, you can still win by getting back to fitness and good health. Remember diabetes and heart disease risks reduce by as much as 60 percent when losing as little as 10 percent of body weight.

For those still in the game, keep up the good work. There are a few months left to achieve our goals. Take advantage of the classes and keep your eyes fixed on those goals. Don't let a "slip-up" cause a "give-up". Small changes end in big results.
