Bragg King to be united in marriage Sept. 30

Barbara and Albert Bragg of Wagarville announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, La'Cherica Denease, to Marcus Lynell King, son of Cynthia and James Russell of Winn and Albert King Jr. of Jackson.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Cassie Powell of Wagarville and the late Ben Powell, Frances Bragg of Glen Burnie, Md. and Bobby Yelder of Leroy.

A graduate of Leroy High School, Miss Bragg received a bachelor of science degree in resource management from Troy University where she is currently pursuing her master's.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Doris and Albert King Sr. of Jackson and the late Pearline and Milbert Bumpers. He is a graduate of Coffeeville High School and is currently pursuing a bachelor of arts degree at Troy University.

The wedding will be an event of Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006, 5 p.m. at the Chatom Community Center. A reception will follow immediately after the ceremony.

Family and friends are invited to attend through the medium of the press.
