Mr. Dale and Miss Brooks exchange wedding vows

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur James Dale
Jamie Danita Brooks of Grove Hill and Arthur James Dale of Frisco City were married Saturday, May 13, 2006 at 5 p.m. at H.W. Pearce Memorial Park Assembly House in Jackson with the Rev. Matthew Davis officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Gwen and Henry Briggs Jr. of Allen. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Armistead of Allen and Mrs. Gravel Morris of Suggsville.

The groom is the son of Mrs. Eula Bell Dale of Frisco City. He is the grandson of the late Monroe and Ella Stanley of Mexia.

Given in marriage by her father, Henry Briggs Jr., the bride wore a strapless, satin Aline gown with silver beading on the bodice, skirt and train with a pleated back.

The bride was attended by Jira Roberts, as maid of honor, of Mobile. Bridesmaids were Teneka Tucker of Tuscaloosa, Sandra Dale, sister of the groom, of Frisco City and Nasha Dale of Atmore, daughter of the bride.

The flower girls were Nia Locke of Frisco City and Jasmine McClain of Uriah, both nieces of the groom.

The groom was attended by Jarmand Ely of Mobile as best man. Groomsmen were Henry Briggs III, brother of the bride, of Allen, Mickey Dale, and D.L. Dale, brothers of the groom, both of Frisco City.

Ushers were Chris Washington Jr. of Suggsville, cousin of the bride, Roy Dale Jr., of Mobile and Tevin McClain of Uriah, both nephews of the groom.

Ringbearer was Deonte Dale, nephew of the groom, of Frisco City.

Bible bearer was Serdarion Locke, nephew of the groom, of Frisco City.

Reception

A reception followed the ceremony.

Servers for the bride and groom's tables were Evelyn Roscoe and Tiffany Jackson, both of Millry.

Rehearsal Dinner

An after-rehearsal dinner was conducted at H.W. Pearce Memorial Park Assembly House in Jackson and hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Henry Briggs Jr.

After a wedding trip to Destin, Fla. the couple is residing in Mobile.
