Man arrested with pistol on school property Aman who took a pistol to the Coffeeville High School was arrested Friday night. Coffeeville Police Chief Clint Harrell observed Cotrie Purvis Cowan Jr.'s vehicle in the parking lot at the school as the football team was returning from an away game. Harrell heard loud music coming from Cowan's vehicle and as he approached the vehicle to address the noise ordinance violation, Harrell saw a Glock pistol on the front passenger seat.
