Fannie Mae Howard Whatley Fannie Mae Howard Whatley, a member of Howardtown Baptist Church in Tibbie, died Sept. 10, 2006 at her residence at the age of 80. She was a native and resident of Tibbie and a retired seamstress. She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Whatley of Monroeville and Joe Whatley of Tibbie; three daughters, Betty Anderson and Mary Akridge, both of Tibbie and June Spaulding of Mt. Shasta, Calif.; three brothers, Eugene Howard of Tibbie, Leamon Howard of Wilmer and Billy Howard of Citronelle; four sisters, Jeannie Howard and Shirley Bazor, both of Tibbie, Betty Presnall of Jackson and Evelyn Tucker of Saraland; 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 14 (today) at 6 p.m. at the Howardtown Baptist Church in Tibbie.
The funeral service will be Friday, Sept. 15 at the church with burial in the church cemetery and Lathan Funeral Home of Chatom directing.
