Jamaury Whittaker Jamaury Whittaker, 22, a resident of Walker Springs, died at Jackson Medical Center on Sept. 2, 2006. He is survived by his mother, Doris Whittaker of Walker Springs; two daughters, Jaliyah Pritchett of Walker Springs and Amauria Creighton of Tuscaloosa; three brothers, Darryl Jemison of Columbus, Ga., John Whittaker of Walker Springs and Christopher Washington of Alma; four sisters, Sharon Jemison of Grove Hill, Shinette Nicholson of Jackson, Keisha Rivers of Gainestown and Janisha Vacca of Walker Springs.
Funeral services will be conducted at Greater Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Walker Springs at 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 9. Visitation will begin an hour before the service. Burial will be in the Antioch A.M.E. Cemetery in Alma with Jackson Memorial Funeral Home directing.
