16th Annual Nuthin' New Car Show planned for Sept. 16 in Thomasville

The 16th Annual Nuthin' New Car Show is planned for Saturday, Sept. 16 in the Thomasville Plaza, located on Highway 43 North, next to Fat Daddy's.

Sponsors are Lewis Pest Control, Schoeder Body Shop in Linden, Golden Railroad Construction, Inc., Air Masters and Brooks Chevrolet, both in Thomasville. Free dash plaques will be given to the first 125 entrants.

First, second and third place plaques will be awarded along with Best of Show and the Longest Distance Driven to Show. Judging is based on the point system. Antiques, classics, muscle cars, trucks and more are invited to enter.

Admission is free. Registration is 8 a.m. until 12 noon and is $15 per vehicle entered. Judging is at noon. Awards will be presented at 3 p.m. Door prize drawings will be conducted from 12 noon until 3 p.m.
