Clarke - Steadham will be united in marriage Oct. 7

Mr. and Mrs. Doug Clarke of Grove Hill are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Christy Ann, to Richard Brandon Steadham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Steadham of Thomasville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Smelley of Whatley, Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Clarke of Grove Hill, the late Melvin Phillips and the late Mary Catherine Clarke. She is a 2004 graduate of

Clarke County High School and a 2006 graduate of Alabama Southern Community College where she received an associate degree in business administration. She is currently employed with Clarke-Washington Electric Membership Corp. in Jackson.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Bonnie Bradford of Thomasville and the late Bobby Ray Bradford, Hazel Jean Steadham of Thomasville and the late Al Steadham. He is a 2002 graduate of

Thomasville High School and a 2006 graduate of Alabama Southern Community College with a degree in machine technology. He is employed with Burkes Mechanical in Pine Hill.

The wedding will be an event of Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006, 2 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church, 7759 Old Highway 5 South in Thomasville.

Family and friends are invited to attend through the medium of the press.
