Miss Johnson and Mr. Howze to say vows Saturday, Sept. 9

Miss Johnson and Mr. Howze
Sharon and Theodore Howze along with friends and family are pleased to announce the upcoming wedding of their son, Daric VaShawn Howze to Hazel Darnique Johnson, daughter of Juanita and Billy Johnson of Leroy.

The couple will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006 at Mt. Olive No. 2 Baptist Church in Jackson at 5 p.m.

A reception will be conducted at H.W. Pearce Memorial Park Assembly House in Jackson.

Family and friends are invited to attend through the medium of the press.

Miss Johnson is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Johnson of Leroy and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Brown Sr. of Pensacola, Fla. She is a 1995 graduate of Leroy High School and a graduate of the University of Mobile where she received a degree in elementary education. She is employed as a teacher at McIntosh Elementary School as a reading coach for six years.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Thad Jones of Jackson and the late Delores Jones and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Howze Jr. Mr. Howze is a 1993 graduate of Jackson High School. He is a truck driver with Evergreen Transportation and has been employed with the company for 12 years.
