St. Peter's Episcopal Church announces fall schedule St. Peter's Episcopal Church is announcing its fall schedule. Adult education classes will be conducted each Sunday at 10 a.m. The subject is "A People Called Episcopalians". Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. every Sunday. On Saturday, Sept. 30, 6 p.m. "The Main Event", a lobster supper fund-raiser will be held to benefit the Wilmer Hall Children's Home in Mobile. Tickets are $20 each. For more information call 251-246-3278. The Right Rev. Sam B. Hulsey, retired bishop of Ft. Worth, Texas, will perform baptism, confirmation and deliver a sermon on Sunday, Oct. 22 beginning at 11 a.m. The church will once again conduct their Wednesday brown-bag theology and lunch. Worship will begin at 12 noon for five to 10 minutes, lunch, and at 12:45 p.m. end the discussion. The church will provide coffee and tea with individuals providing their own lunches. Schedule for Wednesdays brown-bag theology and lunch is as follows: Sept. 13 - (the eve of Holy Cross Day) topic: "The Scandal of Christianity: What Does A Crucified God Mean to Me?" Oct. 4 - (feast of St. Francis of Assisi) topic: "Being Instruments of God's Peace" Nov. 1 - (All Saint's Day) topic: "Saintly Behavior in a Crazy World" Dec. 6 - (feast of St. Nicholas of Myra) topic: "Adult Receiving & Childlike Giving: Preparing for the Coming of the King
