Local girls to compete in national weightlifting competition in Las Vegas

Two young ladies from this area will soon be going to Las Vegas, Nev. to compete in a national weightlifting competition in attempts to break world records.

Laci Wright of Jackson is a senior at Jackson Academy and Rebecca Jordan, a senior at Washington County High School will be attempting to set world records in weightlifting on November 15. These two girls became eligible for this compitition by competing in and winning several local and state level events.

The girls will be holding a car wash in the Wal-Mart parking lot on Saturday and encourage people to stop by. Donations will be accepted.
