Jackson Police Report

The following information has been supplied by the Jackson Police Department for the week ending Aug. 19.

Burglary/Mischief

On Aug. 17, burglary was reported from St. Elmo Road, as well as from the 200 block of West Boyles Street. Theft from yards was also reported on that date from the 100 block of Chesley Avenue.

Criminal mischief was reported on Aug. 19 from the 500 block of East Pearl Street.

DUI Arrests

Patti Carnley, 50, of Demopolis, arrested Aug. 15 for driving under the influence.

Jerome Bettis, 33, of Jackson, arrested Aug. 17 for public drunkenness.

Blakely Ray Lowery, 19, of Jackson, arrested Aug. 19 for driving under the influence.

Kelvin La Mark Chapman, 24, of Mosspoint, Miss., arrested Aug. 19 for driving under the influence.

Jamie Christopher Dove, 26, of Jackson, arrested Aug. 20, for driving under the influence.

Accidents Two-vehicle accident without injuries, Aug. 16, on Highway 43 near Industrial Road. Two-vehicle accident, Aug. 17, in the parking lot at the Post Office. Two-vehicle accident, Aug. 19, in the parking lot of Wal-Mart. Three-vehicle accident without injuries, Aug. 19, on Highway 43 near Walker Springs Road.
