Coffeeville High School conducts PTO, open house

The Coffeeville High School (CHS) hosted a PTO and parenting meeting on Aug. 17.

Principal Janice Richardson and parenting coordinator, Jean Daffin, discussed various topics with those attending.

Tours of the school highlighting the consolidation of the two schools onto one campus were given. At the end of the tour, Principal Richardson opened the floor for discussion and answered questions.

Topics discussed were consolidation, test scores, discipline, uniforms, Parental Plan, SACS,

the videoconferencing lab, teamwork and support. PTOParenting meetings will be held monthly. Dates will be announced.

New to the staff at CHS is Celeste Marbley, a third grade teacher. Marbley is a native of Lower Peach Tree and a 1996 graduate of Clarke County High School.

She graduated in 2001 from Auburn University in Montgomery with a bachelor of science degree in early child and elementary education.
