Pine City Ambassadors 2006-2007 chosen
This year we are proud to announce that we have 16 Pine City Ambassadors. All of which represent Jackson High School, Jackson Academy and Leroy High School. During their tenure as ambassadors, these local seniors participate in several chamber events including the chamber's annual meeting, Fall Festival, Christmas Parade, and Spring Cleanup. After successful completion of the program, each ambassador will receive a scholarship. The program has been expanded to include several seminars in which the ambassadors will learn more about Jackson and Clarke County as a whole. The chamber hopes that through the program, the ambassadors will explore our community, broaden their talents, interact with their peers, discover what makes them leaders, and find out how they can make a difference. We are proud to announce that our sponsors for the program are Marty Parker; technology resources manager at Boise, Tina Pugh, owner of Preschoolers Unlimited, and Steve James; area sergeant for the Conservation Enforcement Department. These individuals are leaders in all aspects of their lives.
This year's Pine City Ambassadors are Jodi Walker, Lacey Blankenship and Eshala Crutchfield all of Leroy High School; Rachael Phillips, Rachael Callahan, Laura Rotch, Clara DuBose and Christina Jackson of Jackson Academy; and Terry Stephens, Brittany Harrell, Sam Griffin, Leonard Jackson, Sergio Washington, Logan Murphy, Jon Luke Jacobs and Rico Dread of Jackson High School.
