The Washington County High School Lady Bulldogs volleyball team looks to improve on a seven-win season.

"We have a lot to improve on," said Head Coach Brandon Dees. "We only lost one senior last year in Ruth Godwin so we should be able to compete this season."

The Bulldogs will have five seniors this year in Brittney Levrett, Whitney Reed, Adrian Deese, Franchesca Johnson and Sheena Swopes.

"This is my third season here at Chatom and it is our goal to make it to at least the first round of the state playoffs," said Dees.

"Even though we have five seniors, this could still be a building season for us because we still have several young players," said Dees.

Coach Dees was awarded Coach of the Year last season for Washington County.

"These girls have potential and I hope they live up to it," concluded Dees.
