Graham presents check to JMS principal
Judy Graham, (center), local manager of Alabama Power Company, presented a check to Jesse Taylor, principal of Jackson Middle School (JMS), (right) for the purchase of materials to make dry erase boards for the Alabama Math, Science and Technology Initiative classes. The boards will be used to encourage individual participation with hands-on activities. Linda Deas, school improvement specialist for Clarke County, (left) shows one of the boards. The Career Tech classes of Joe Henderson at Coffeeville High School, will make the boards for the students at JMS. These classes constructed the dry erase boards forWilson Hall Middle School in Grove Hill last year. This is an example of business and education working together to prepare students in the classroom.
