Local JHS student receives national honor

Natosha Gordon Natosha Gordon The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) announced that Jackson High School student, Natosha Gordon of Jackson, has been selected for membership.

The society recognizes the top scholars in the nation and invites only those who have achieved superior academic excellence.

The announcement was made by NSHSS Founder and Chairman Claes Nobel, senior member of the Nobel Prize family.

Gordon is the daughter of Bettie and Glenn Williams of Jackson and Ricky Crawford of Miami, Fla.

Grandparents are Catherine and Richard Jackson of Jackson and Ollie Gordon of Pittsburg, Pa. and the late Queen Gordon.
