The Bertha Mae Chapter No. 314 Order of the Eastern Star will be conducting a health fair on Saturday, April 22 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Jackson City Hall.

There will be free screening for diabetes, cholesterol, hearing, blood pressure and oxygen testing.

Seminars will include diabetes/ hypertension/cholesterol, nursing home care, hearing, sickle cell, WIC/immunization, dietary and wellness (exercise).

The purpose of the health fair is to educate on services offered in this area and to make everyone aware of the importance of taking care of themselves.
