The Town of Coffeeville and the Coffeeville Beautification Committee held a dedication ceremony Sunday afternoon for the new flag and flagpole on Highway 84. Area veterans were recognized as well as those who have helped with the flag and other projects. Olin Corp. was recognized for helping to provide materials and funds for the flagpole. Olin’s Joe Rytlewski (left) was recognized by Rita Wilson, right, of the beautification committee. Also recognized during the program was Wilson and her husband, Lloyd, and Calvin Guy for their efforts on various projects. The Rev. Bill Cardwell of Grove Hill was the program speaker and the Dixie River Band provided music for the event.
